Council receptions and educational conferences are supported outside the councils budget by sponsors whenever possible, which are deeply appreciated.

Receptions, which precede each program, are an important part of the evening's ambiance, and are generally appreciated by members and guests. Sponsors are profusely thanked at the reception and when the speaker is introduced.

Posting addresses on the Internet enables the Council to make every address available to all members. It allows the distinguished speakers program to be shared with those not attending formal presentations.

Educational conferences uniquely bring together faculty and students from around the state and give them a rare opportunity to hear and meet with policy makers. Sponsorship costs vary. Sponsors are thanked at the reception, when the speakers are introduced.
